We’re big fans of an up and coming Dublin and Mayo based band who have been lauded as “Ireland’s Hottest Rock ticket” by a drunk homeless man who bears a stark resemblence to Doc Brown from Back to the Future.

Herr Doc Brown can be found roaming a small nature reserve just outside Freiburg, Germany, which also doubles as the wonderful setting for the ZMF Musik Festival which this Irish band stole the show last July with a blistering sets of performances over the course of a week at the month long festival.

They are of course, none other than Crete Boom and they’ve just released the second EP – Navy and Grey.
