2 more esteemed gigsoc members are coming online to share their words of wisdom with you.  deportivo is an up and coming author in his own right and will be bringing you his own controversial but critically important gig reviews in addition to introducing you to some of the finest new music on the planet. deportivo is not afraid to shoot from the hip and has been referred to as the Eamon Dunphy of the Irish Gig Review scene.

Next up is squinty. What can I squinty that hasn’t already been said? Well quite a lot actually as most of you will never have heard of him! But that will all soon change.  squinty has an eye for spotting a decent gig from a mile away. Like any good football scout, he can spot blossoming talent well before the masses can and takes great care to encourage the growth of home grown artists in this country. Less controversial than deportivo but often as insightful and more balanced in his reviews, squinty will be the gigsoc voice of reason – the Johnny Giles of the operation if you will.
